One‑Eighty is a psychology-focused behaviour support charity working across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Their mission is to empower children and young people to improve their mental health and re-engage with education.
They support young people facing complex challenges such as trauma, bereavement, and mental health difficulties through intensive, one-to-one interventions and therapeutic approaches.
Founded in 2011, the charity works with young people aged 4–17, their families, and professionals, delivering sustainable, long-term change.
Youth mental health is one of the most pressing challenges facing our communities today, and without the right support, many risk falling out of education and missing opportunities for the future. For more than a decade, One-Eighty has been transforming the lives of children and young people facing complex challenges, delivering evidence-based support that creates meaningful, long-term change.
Since being established in 2011, the charity has supported more than 3,500 young people, families and professionals across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire through intensive one-to-one therapeutic interventions, school-based support and specialist behavioural programmes.
In 2024, One-Eighty's innovative approach was recognised nationally when it was named a winner of the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) Awards. The judges praised the charity's intensive one-to-one intervention programme, preventative mental health initiatives, and evidence-based model, highlighting its potential for wider national impact. They also recognised the charity's outstanding social value, with an independently validated study showing that every £1 invested in One-Eighty generates more than £11 of value for the community
