Customer Terms and Conditions: 50 Days of Free Electricity Promotion

1. The prize draw is open to all new customers who agree a contract with us between 8:00am on 2 February 2026 and 5:00pm on 30 April 2026 for a non-half hourly electricity supply, provided we subsequently become the registered supplier in respect of one or more electricity meter points under that contract, and the customer has a working smart meter or advanced meter with equivalent remote capability installed at the supplied premises, before 1 June 2026.
2. Contracts that include a half hourly electricity supply are not eligible for this prize draw.
3. An eligible customer will be automatically entered into the prize draw. There is a limit of one entry to the prize draw per customer.
4. We accept no responsibility for contracts not successfully concluded and meter points not successfully registered due to a technical fault of any kind. Where the customer requires a new meter to be installed, installation will be dependent on the availability of appointments with our third-party installation agent, and the customer providing access to the premises and arranging any necessary preparatory works. We accept no responsibility if an eligible meter is not installed before 1 June 2026, nor if an otherwise eligible meter is not working properly by that date due to a technical fault of any kind.
5. Winners will be chosen by random draw on 1 June 2026. There are four prizes available, but one is reserved for customers introduced to us by Bionic Services Limited and one is reserved for customers introduced to us by Love Business Group Limited.
6. The winners will receive a credit in respect of the charges for the electricity supplied under their contract during a 50-day period commencing on 1 July 2026, capped at £1,000. This will be applied to a winner’s invoices automatically and excludes taxes and levies which may be payable on the supply in addition to our charges.
7. The winners will be notified by email (using details provided in the contract application) before 5 June 2026.
8. The prize for winners is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. If a winner’s contract is ended for any reason before the expiry 50 days, they will be entitled to a prorated credit, subject to a prorated cap.
9. Our decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
10. We must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, we will send the business name (or surname of the individual if there is no business name) of prize winners to anyone who emails us at salessupport@valdaenergy.com or writes to Sales Support, Valda Energy, Unit 11 Talisman Business Centre, Talisman Road, Bicester, OX26 6HR (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the date stated in condition 5. If you object to your business name being published or made available, please contact us by email at salessupport@valdaenergy.com. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
11. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
12. We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
13. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in our privacy notice. See also condition 10 with regard to the announcement of winners.
14. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in England.
