£100 Sign On Credit – Terms and Conditions

  1. This promotion is an offer by Valda Energy Limited to apply a £100 credit to the energy account of eligible new customers who enter into a supply contract with us and meet the conditions set out below (“Promotion”).
  2. The Promotion is available for a limited time and may be withdrawn or amended at any time. The applicable availability period will be communicated by Valda Energy at the point of enquiry or sign up.
  3. The Promotion is available to new customers only who are not currently supplied by Valda Energy and who have not received a supply from us at the relevant premises within the previous 12 months.
  4. The Promotion applies to customers requiring a supply of electricity or electricity and gas at non‑domestic premises in Great Britain.
  5. To qualify for the £100 sign on credit, the customer must: (a) contact Valda Energy directly by telephone or email;
    (b) clearly mention the £100 sign on credit offer at the point of sign up and before agreeing a supply contract; and
    (c) successfully enter into a supply contract with Valda Energy, subject to our validation and credit checking processes.
  6. The Promotion is not available where a customer signs up via third parties, including (without limitation) brokers, consultants or other intermediaries.
  7. The £100 sign on credit will become due once Valda Energy has become registered as the supplier of electricity and/or gas to the customer’s premises under the agreed supply contract.
  8. The £100 credit will be applied to the customer’s energy account within 14 working days after the date on which the customer’s supply goes live.
  9. The £100 sign on credit is applied as account credit only. It cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person or account, or used in any other way.
  10. Valda Energy reserves the right to recover the £100 credit if: (a) it has been applied in error; or
    (b) the customer’s supply contract ends within three months of the date on which the credit became due.
  11. Customers are limited to one £100 sign on credit per supply contract and per premises.
  12. Valda Energy will not accept responsibility for any failure by a customer to mention the Promotion prior to agreeing a supply contract, or for any claims made after the contract has been agreed.
  13. Personal data will be processed in connection with this Promotion in accordance with Valda Energy’s privacy notice.
  14. By entering into a supply contract and claiming the Promotion, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  15. Valda Energy reserves the right to disqualify any customer from the Promotion if their conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Promotion or if they have acted unlawfully or improperly.
  16. Valda Energy reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend this Promotion at any time where it becomes necessary to do so.
  17. These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and both the customer and Valda Energy agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
