What are MPAN and MPRN numbers?

Your MPAN (Meter Point Administration Number) is a unique 13-digit number assigned to the electricity meter in your property.

You can find this located on your bill. If you do not have a previous bill, you can find out what your MPAN is by calling your local electricity supplier.

Your MPRN (Meter Point Reference Number) is a unique number assigned to the gas meter in your property.

You can find your MPRN online by visiting Find My Supplier and entering your address and postcode, or by calling the meter number helpline on 0870 608 1524.

You may need your MPAN and MPRN numbers when changing supplier or moving premises.
