The event allowed students the opportunity to discuss their career area of interest and prepare for how to conduct themselves in interviews with valuable feedback given at the end. This gave the students tangible and usable advice for future interviews and helped identify the learning and/or career path they potentially could take for the future.
Valda’s Collections Team Leader, Louise Spriggs attended the event and said:
“I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the mock interview process at Cheney School. The school were very organised and the students were a delight to speak to.
“It was a privilege to be able to provide the students with feedback regarding their interviews and learn more about them as individuals and their aspirations for the future. I would highly recommend being a part of this process as it's incredibly rewarding.”
Thank you to The Cheney School for letting us support their amazing students in preparation for taking the first step into their future careers. We wish their students well going into year 11 and beyond in their chosen learning and career path.
