Installation usually takes no more than an hour, with the power or gas being turned off for only approximately 30 minutes. Standard installations are between 08:00 and 18:00. Installations are free of charge for all our customers.Out of hours installations can be made with prior arrangement, but an additional charge may apply.

Smart Metering Installation – Code of Practice

Valda Energy will install your smart meter in accordance with the Consolidated Metering Code of Practice (CoMCoP). This is the industry standard for meter installations including smart meters. For more information, visit Frequently Asked Questions - REC Portal
