Installation usually takes no more than an hour, with the power or gas being turned off for only approximately 30 minutes. Standard installations are between 08:00 and 18:00. Installations are free of charge for all our customers.Out of hours installations can be made with prior arrangement, but an additional charge may apply.

Smart Metering Installation – Code of Practice

Valda Energy will install your smart meter in accordance with The Smart Meter Installation Schedule. This is a set of rules and standards to be followed when installing a new smart meter for a small business energy customer.
