Why do I need to provide a closing meter read when moving out?

If you have a traditional meter (non-smart), then we require you to submit a closing meter read on the day that your contract ends. This is to ensure that we can produce an accurate final bill. If you don't provide a closing read, then your final bull will be generated using estimated reads, or we may ask you for a photo of your meter.

If you have a smart meter, then you won't need to provide a closing read, we will take this directly.
