Valda Energy joins in Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning

On Friday 27th September the team at Valda Energy took part in the Macmillan Cancer Support’s World Biggest Coffee Morning - raising money for the UK’s leading cancer support charity.

Currently, 1 in 2 people in the UK will get cancer in their lifetime, with 910 people getting diagnosed every day. Although survival rate is higher than it’s ever been, we’re proud to support Macmillan Cancer Support, because of the help and support they give cancer sufferers and survivors every day.

All employee took part in the event, with everyone bringing in yummy treats. Much kudos to the talented people who brought in homemade cakes, these definitely seemed to disappear the quickest. Plus, there were offerings for people without a sweet tooth, with cheese and biscuits for sale – this also proved very popular.

Every pound counts and will make such a difference to people living with cancer. So, thanks to everyone who took part and made it such a success!
