Commercial Analyst

Overview

Main tasks, responsibilities and duties 

Ownership of key processes and responsibilities, including:

• analysis of core data to help inform strategic decisions
• billing and metering performance analysis and reporting
• development of strong communication skills
• pricing and forecasting for both the supply and renewable generation portfolios
• reviewing key price drivers and market conditions
• enhancements to core business models

In addition, the successful candidate will be required to carry out insightful ad hoc analysis with the use of Excel, SQL and Power BI or other relevant coding/data processing programs (prior knowledge of these is not essential).

Qualification and experience requirements

• Minimum B at A-Level in Math’s or similar subject or equivalent
• Minimum 2:1 at degree level or equivalent
• No professional qualifications required
• Experience of Excel/SQL/R/Power BI desirable but not essential
• Industry experience desirable but not essential
• Numerate, inquisitive and keen to embrace change
